Who is my soulmate by birthdate?

How to find your soulmate by birth date

Most “soulmate by birthday” pages only use your Sun sign, which you can read off a calendar. The planet astrologers actually use for love is Venus: it shows how you love and what you find beautiful, and it does not follow the calendar. Two people born a week apart can have different Venus signs. This calculator works out where the Sun and Venus really were on your birth date using the orbital elements published by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (accurate to a few hundredths of a degree for 1900 to 2049), then:

1. reads your Venus sign: your love style and the look you fall for;
2. scores all twelve signs against your Sun and Venus, using the classic relationships between signs (same element, friendly elements, and the opposite sign that holds what you lack);
3. adds your life path number from numerology, which describes the kind of love you are here to learn.

Which zodiac signs are soulmates?

Traditional astrology pairs signs of the same element (fire with fire, earth with earth) for ease, and signs of friendly elements (fire with air, earth with water) for energy. Opposite signs (Aries and Libra, Taurus and Scorpio) make the most famous soulmate pairs: magnetic, challenging and complete. Your best matches depend on your Venus as much as your Sun, which is why the calculator scores both. Read your sign’s full profile in zodiac soulmates.

Do I need my birth time?

No. The Sun and Venus each spend weeks in a sign, so a date is almost always enough. If you were born on the day a planet changed sign, the result will say so; add your birth time to be sure. Your rising sign and the seventh house of partnership need an exact time and place, which the Venusly app asks for in its quiz.

From your signs to a face

Your Venus sign and seventh house are exactly what Venusly reads to draw its soulmate portraits. If your result made you curious about the face, the app takes the full chart from here.
